솔로몬제도 청년들의 미션 드림 트립(Mission Dream Trip)을 소개합니다.
2019년 솔로몬제도 선교를 통해 만난 누쿠타푸(Nukutapu) 펠로우십과 지속적으로 연락하며 지내던 중, 선교사가 되는 것이 꿈인 청년들을 알게 되었습니다. 누쿠타푸 펠로우십은 솔로몬제도의 러넬(Rennell)과 벨로나(Bellona) 섬에서 고등학교, 대학교 진학을 하기 위해 수도인 호니아라로 유학온 청년들로 이루어진 신앙 공동체입니다. 선교사가 되는 것이 꿈이지만, 솔로몬제도에는 신학을 공부할 학교가 없어 어려움을 겪던 중, 뉴질랜드 두루리(Drury)에서 기독교 공동체를 이루고 있는 솔로몬제도 출신의 조나단(Jonathan) 목사님이 이들을 격려했습니다. 두루리 공동체는 농장을 운영하며 자급자족하는 신앙 공동체 입니다. 이 공동체 안에는 바이블 스쿨이 있어 신앙 훈련 또한 할 수 있습니다.
세계선교사지원센터(WMSC)는 헌틀리에 소재한 키위 교회(Trinity Church)와 연합하여 두 청년의 비행기 티켓을 지원하고 뉴질랜드로 초청했습니다. 로드릭(Rodrick)과 칼윈(Carlwyn) 두 청년은 앞으로 바이블 스쿨(Drury Church Bible School)에서 2년 동안 공동체 생활을 하며 신앙훈련을 받게 될 것입니다. 또한 사역 현장에서 필요한 기술들을 익히고 돌아가게 될 것입니다.
World Missionary Support Centre united with the Trinity church to support students from the Solomon Islands. This was to allow that students to train at the Drury Christian School. This was organised through Jonathan at Drury. Below is some details about our sponsored students. The students we sponsored are Rodrick Nasiu Taimasa and Carlwyn Pugeva. We sponsored their flight tickets.
Jonathan from Drury Christian School says : This is one branch of training offered for students in bible studies in our own established bible school. The courses we offered are Bible studies (Genesis to Revelation), Church history, missions, leadership and biblical counseling. The course and training is for 2 years. After their training the students are encouraged to return to their home countries to serve in the local churches.
Concerning challenges : Our school don't charge fees to our bible and mission students their work with us in the church farm, school and missions is part of their contribution. There is free accommodation and food for them as well. Most of our students came from local churches and families in the villages of their countries. These local churches and families are mostly financially poor the reason why we offer them opportunities to study in NZ. The main challenge is financial support for students for their basic needs. The support in prayer is very important and key to God's leading and blessings on the lives of the students.

A. Jesus is everything.

A. I want to be a missionary. Because I want to spread the word of God.

A. I want to everyone to pray for all our young people who didn't know God. Pray for our family and pray for the poor one.
